At Paragon, we specialize in treating a wide range of diseases and conditions through our specialty pharmacies. What is a specialty pharmacy? It is a licensed facility designed to handle drugs that are either high cost, high complexity, and/or high touch. This differs from traditional pharmacies and specifically focuses on providing infusible and injectable therapies to patients with complex or rare conditions.
What does Paragon Specialty offer?
We provide patients and providers with access to specialty pharmacy medications that may be administered in one of our Paragon Infusion Centers, in the home setting through our Home Infusion Therapy division, or in a physician’s infusion suite at their medical practice. Our goal is for each patient to have flexibility when deciding what coverage works best for their therapy type, comfortability, and health insurance.
We also provide:
- Special handling of medications throughout the delivery process since these drugs require precise storage conditions for safe transit
- Clinical education and resources for patients and providers in guideline-directed therapy
- Thorough evaluation of copayment assistance for a variety of medications
