Every day we wake up ready to serve each one of the patients on our service. For many of the people we serve, the therapies we provide to them are both life-saving and life-giving. For Sheldon, one of our pediatric nutrition patients, we had the opportunity to partner with him and his family to not only meet his healthcare needs but also to improve his quality of life. At a young age, Sheldon required nutrition support therapy that bound him to adult-sized IV poles and tubing. This hindered his ability to play and move around like the other children his age. We were honored to have the opportunity to improve Sheldon’s quality of life by finding a creative solution that was tailored to meet his specific medical needs.

Our home infusion nutrition support services empower patients to receive the life-saving therapies they need in the comfort of their own home. By providing patients with portable pumps, they can remain mobile because they don’t have to be hooked up to an IV pole. For Sheldon, we were able to give him a backpack that could carry all of his supplies and pump so that he could experience the fullness of being a kid.
