A healthcare firm located in Far North Dallas is moving almost 275 workers to a new location in Plano.
Paragon Healthcare has leased 67,000 square feet of office space in the Apex building at 3033 W. Bush Turnpike.
As part of the move, the company plans to add more than 75 workers by 2021.
“We are excited to give our employees a beautiful, updated workspace complete with an employee lounge area, fitness facility, café, and plenty of training and conference rooms,“ Rick Allen, president and CEO of Paragon Healthcare, said in a statement. “We know that if our people are taken care of, they will take care of our patients, and that’s been our mindset since the beginning.”
Paragon is moving its head offices along with its pharmacies and a reimbursement office to the new location.
Plano is providing more than $315,000 in economic incentives for the deal.
Founded in 2002, Paragon has grown to become the leading infusion provider in Texas, with nearly 750 employees.
The company is now located on Preston Road in Dallas.
The building where Paragon is moving is owned by Dallas-based real estate investor and developer Champion Partners – the same firm that just purchased Dr Pepper’s old headquarters campus in Plano’s Legacy business park.
Brad Struck, Darren Woodson, and Roy Reis of commercial real estate firm ESRP negotiated the Paragon lease with Nathan Durham and Duane Henley of Transwestern. Susan Arledge of ESRP negotiated with the City of Plano.
“This new facility will enable us to substantially expand the company’s offerings, as we move into our next stage of growth and expand our national footprint.” Joe Brayton, Paragon executive vice president, said in a statement.
